Whilst the Flux team in Queensland were delivering the "HELLFIRE" production for Village Roadshow at Movie World - Kris from Flux headed down to Victoria to deliver a wide variety of entertainment at multiple events, along with a creative project that gained a lot of international attention!
We delivered 5 full length pyrotechnics shows, 4 fire shows, amongst stage pyrotechnics and roving fire & grinding acts in Australia's most southern mainland state. We had a team of 7 performers in action throughout the month in Victoria!
Co-founder of Flux - Kris Flux, teamed up with internationally renowned performer Jessy Spin, and with their powers combined - created the world's first firework skirt act in a wreckers!
Jessy has performed with her individually designed & manufactured fire skirt for some years, and with Kris in town - they were able to combine their resources to create an epic piece of pyro costuming, with the existing structure of the fire skirt and the addition of a Flux firing system, intricately wired.
The goal was to stick with the futuristic, industrial, grungy and darker vibe that our art presents, and a well-known wrecking yard in Melbourne was the perfect location to film the project.
